Bio

Steve has been performing in front of audiences for over 10 years now. His passion for performing and engaging audiences started in 2000 when he embarked on a 3 year journey at East 15 Acting School. He graduated in 2003 with a BA Hons in Acting.

Since then, Steve has performed well over 750 times across the UK and Europe, to audiences of up to 1000 people. In 2007, he ended up going to a business networking event in London. Steve said,

“I’ve never been so bored by so many people in my entire life. I was shocked how many people just talked at me with no emotional connection to what they were saying. It was like the night of the living dead. In the days after the event, I was questioning why people were like that. Then it dawned on me. They’ve never had any formal training about what it takes to truly connect with an audience. It wasn’t their fault, they were unknowingly doing it.

It was then I realised that all the tools and techniques I had learnt as an actor would be great for business professionals to learn. If this was the norm, that most of them didn’t know how to engage with their audience, I could make a massive difference in their lives.”

Steve has worked with a number of large corporates that include Vodaphone, BT Wholesale and Global Crossing (UK). He’s also worked with many small business owners on their ability to communicate their unique business message.

Over the last couple of years Steve has also spoken at business networking events across the UK sharing his insights on the Craft of Performance.
